Oil pulling helps remove bacteria and toxins from our mouth, gums, and lymphatic system.  To perform oil pulling, take pure coconut or sesame oil. Take 1 tablespoon of oil and swish it around your mouth for 10 minutes. It is important to note that you should not swallow the oil, just continuously swish it around. During the process, the oil will attract bacteria and toxins towards itself, and all the bacteria and toxins will stick to the oil. When you spit out the oil from your mouth, all the toxins will be expelled along with it  Oil pulling can be an effective method to remove bacteria and toxins from your oral cavity and promote oral hygiene.
