  • Fresh ginger is especially helpful for people with Kapha, as you can take a pinch of fresh ginger root with a few drops of lemon juice as an appetizer before each meal.
  • Other key spices for warming digestion are black pepper, cumin, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, and turmeric. Try adding these spices to your cooking to invigorate sluggish Kapha agni.
